
The primary objective of the CMBC is to identify at least ten (10) high potential MBEs annually, or fifty (50) over the next 5 years that meet our minimum growth criteria. Over time, these 50 high potential MBEs would be positioned to collectively generate in excess of $250Million in annual revenues, and create over 750 new jobs. In support of these objectives, additional emphasis is placed on the following:
- A comprehensive business assessment and readiness evaluation
- A rigorous and competitive selection process
- Emphasis on capital readiness, capacity, and scale
- Leveraging extensive regional and national networks of subject matter expertise
- Providing customized and intensive wrap-around services and technical assistance support
- Facilitating direct access to local, regional and national capital providers
- Facilitating direct access and introductions to new potential client opportunities
